Avocado Dressing

Ingredients
1/2 large avocado
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cumin
1 pressed garlic clove
1/4 cup buttermilk

Ranch Dressing

Ingredients
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup plain nonfat yoghurt
1* package of "HAINES" buttermilk dressing mix or 1 package
"MAYACAMAS" creamy buttermilk and herb salad dressing mix

OR

1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. basil powder
1/4 tsp. citric acid or ascorbic acid (vitamin C)
1 tsp. dehydrated red & green bell peppers
1/4 tsp. oregano powder
1/4 tsp. marjoram powder
1 tbsp. parsley flakes

1. Mix all ingredients together and stir thoroughly until smooth.
2. Age in refrigerator for 2 hours minimum. Will stay fresh 2-3 weeks.
* "HAINES" and "MAYACAMAS" mixes do not contain additives, sugar, salt, MSG, or artificial ingredients.


Sesame Dressing

Ingredients
1/4 cup freshly toasted sesame seed, ground in blender into meal
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. lemon zest
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 cup buttermilk or unsweetened orange juice

Makes 1/2 cup

French Dressing

Ingredients
2 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup rice vinegar
1/3 cup water
1/3 cup tomato juice
3-1/2 tbsp. frozen apple juice concentrate
1 tsp. pectin
1 tsp. arrowroot
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. ground thyme
1/8 tsp. paprika
Makes 1 cup
12 calories/tablespoon


Vinaigrette Dressing

Ingredients
3/4 cup bottled white grape juice
1/2 cup tarragon wine vinegar
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. tamari sauce
1 tsp. dijon mustard
1 tbsp. pectin
2 tsp. arrow root
1 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. crushed rosemary
1/4 tsp. crushed dill weed
1/4 tsp. crushed thyme

Makes 1-1/2 cups, 8 calories/tablespoon
